March has been super busy for us and April seems to be heading that way as well. May should be a nice break and I am looking forward to that!
First we celebrated Tara's birthday. She turned 2 on March 4th and we had a party on March 7th for her. Here are some pictures of her cutting her cake, singing, and playing with her new toys (and cousin Dylan).

Aunt Kathleen makes beautiful and delicious cakes! We went with a Tinkerbell theme.
My niece Audrey turned one on March 27 and we celebrated her birthday this past Sunday. This rounded out our month of March birthdays. Altogether I think we attended 6 birthdays (including Tara's)! That is 6 cake and ice cream desserts that I could have done without! Tara was beginning to think that cake was part of her diet. I would ask her what she wanted for lunch and her reply would be "cake?". Below is a picture of Mila and Tara eating cake with the MSU game in the background. Go STATE!
April is proving to be just as busy. We have our Godaughter Reagan's birthday party this Saturday. Her actual birthday is April 16th but since her mom is nearly due with their 3rd baby she decided to do it a little early. We are also planning a trip down to Tennessee to see Uncle Kyle. Tara asks almost everyday to go to Kyle's house. Although she has never been there I know she loves playing with her Uncle Kyle. She did get a chance to see him on the webcam during Audrey's birthday party. It should be an interesting drive down to say the least. Nine hours to a 2 year old is an eternity! We will make it back in time to celebrate Easter with George's side of the family. Birthdays this month include cousins Yvonne, Dylan, my little buddy KJ's first birthday, and a few friends. We will also be celebrating our 3 year anniversary at the end of the month! I can't believe it's been 3 years! We will also be awaiting the arrival of our new nephew.
She loves her new kitchen! (thanks Aunt Shannon!) It took us almost 2 hours to put it together and after what seemed a million batteries it was finally done!
Tara also had some visitors on her actual birthday: Mia, Papa N. & Papa T.
I took the day off of work and met my girlfriend Kristie and her daughter, who is 3 months younger than Tara, down at the mall. We did some shopping and then Brooke and Tara played in the play area.
This is the awesome playhouse that Uncle Matt built for Tara. She loves it and I can't wait for the weather to warm up for good and she can play in it more often.
Next we headed to my brother's house for his birthday on the 12th. I don't have any pictures though. The pictures below are from my Godaugher's birthday which is on the 15th but we celebrated on the 13th (the day after my brother's)
Katie is 11 days younger than Tara. She loves Minnie Mouse!
The following day we headed to George's parents house to celebrate his dad's birthday which is March 9th. Also, no pictures from that day.
This brings us to the next weekend when we celebrated my cousin Nichole's birthday down on the farm. She is also Tara's babysitter 2-3 days a week. She loves her Coco! Tara was especially excited to go see the cows! She loved the baby cows and wanted so badly for them to come closer. Ever since she has been asking to go back to see the baby cows. I am sure we will be making many trips there this summer to see them and the other farm animals!

May should be a nice break before the busy summer! Don't worry, I will post pictures of all of the events from April. (hopefully sooner than later!)
